However, you should remember one important thing. The normal blood pressure 120/80 is for adult and teens, however, for older people the normal pressure reading will be different. Let say a person is 50 years of age and when you add 90 it will be 140. If the systolic measurement for a person of 50 years is 140, it will be considered normal pressure. In case, the person is 60, and when you add 90, it will be 150 and this is still normal pressure for a person of 60 years. The figure 90 is an index to find out normal blood person for old people.
